How do I calculate my session fees?
Does counselling seem expensive? My fees are based on many things.
My experience in counselling, professional membership of an approved counselling body, continued commitment to training and continuous professional development.
A dedicated website, secure email platform and monthly clinical supervision (a requirement for my professional registration).
Guides and emails to help you though the initial set up.
I will commit at least an hour to your email - and often longer in order for me to give you what I consider the best service. My response will be carefully considered and at least 500 words long.
I have a dedicated office space - this means I can fully immerse myself in your session without distractions. Just as I would if I was providing a face to face service.
Standard Session Fees
Counselling by email sessions will be charged at £55 per counselling email. This will be a weekly session (unless alternative arrangements are made).
Once your email has been received by the agreed date, I will reply within 2 working days. My response email will be at least 500 words.
Each counselling email response must be paid for in advance. I will send a payment link the day your email is due. This can be paid by debit or credit card. A delay in payment will quite likely result in a delayed response from me. However I will endeavour to respond to you in a timely manner.
Fees will be reviewed in January each year.
